Pet Exhumations
A commercial photographer for thirty years but always enjoyed working with tools. For the past thirty years- a handyman,- renovator, bricklayer-,builder and jack of all trades.
The loss of a much loved pet "Mindy" at YEA led me to build my first pet casket in 2000 and the establishment of the business "Pet Caskets of Distinction". It was a work of love and led me to manufacture many more in four different sizes. I intended them to be unique and stand out. They have been well received by all and over the years I have had much repeat business. I no longer make them.

This journey also led me to home burials and an ever increasing amount of exhumations.

At the current age of 75 (2024) I am needing to monitor my physical mobility.
It has been a joy to help clients with at times some very challenging jobs.
I now have to decline some jobs due to the level of difficulty.

"I sincerely wanted to touch base and thank you for the terrific way you helped on our little project in making and delivering a casket for Antoinette’s dog, Sandy. Yes, the casket made it safely to Adelaide. And yes, Antoinette absolutely loves it! I really appreciate the kind nature, understanding and sensitivity you brought to this. As you would know, many owners find these times really distressing – and not everybody understands. I like to think that together, we achieved something really worthwhile for my sister, who believe me, is a wonderful person." Con, Melbourne.
